Wine GroupThe wine appreciation group is a group for our members who wine enthusiasts. Whether you already know everything there is to know about wine, know nothing and are looking to learn, or don't care about knowing wine as long as you get to drink it, this is the place for you.
| About the GroupThe group meets once a month at a group member's home for wines of a theme chosen by the member who is hostessing. Themes can be anything: a particular varietal, wine for pairing with a certain food, wine from a particular region, wine from a particular winery, wine from a vintage year, dessert wines, and anything else you can think of. Guests are asked to share the cost of the wine (the individual participation amount is communicated in advance) and to bring a dish to share. Hostesses may ask guests to bring a particular type of dish if it assists with the evening's theme.
