Here's how it will work:
-Sign up as a host and you will be a team captain. You can gather friends, family, other AWC members or bake by yourself.
-It is also possible to sign up to participate as an individual baker - Christina will be in touch as teams form so please register even if you are not able to host.
-Team captains decide when, what and for how long to bake on June 29. Bakers are responsible for ingredients as the AWC Bake Sale at the Independence Day is one of our biggest fundraisers and relies on donations.
-The goal of the weekend is to prepare as many contributions for the Independence Day Celebration in Frogner Park. We will be coordinating if you would like for you baked goods to be picked up on the evening of June 29. You are also free to drop off items at Frogner Park on June 30.
-All participants will be invited to a WhatsApp group where we can share pictures, stories, recipes, funny stories, competitive spirit, etc. throughout the weekend.
-At the end of the weekend, two teams will be selected as winners! The first prize is for the highest number of contributions, and the second will be for the most creative submission. The awards will be announced in the first fall flyer of the 2024-2025 club year.
