Independence Day in Frogner Park - Bake sale & Book sale

After a two year hiatus, Independence Day in the park is back.  It used to be one of our biggest fundraising events.   

We need your help baking, setting up, selling baked goods and books and taking down the stands at the Independence Day celebration in Frogner Park.  

There will be sign up sheets at the June meeting. But if you are not at the June meeting you can still volunteer to bake or help at the stand by contacting Erin Koenig, Karen M or Ginny (contact details in the membership directory on our site)

The American Coordinating Council of Norway is thrilled to host the 35th annual American Independence Day celebration in Frognerparken on Sunday, 3rd July from 12:00-17:00. Please come and enjoy live entertainment from Stereotrain and Lawson Vallery, delicious American food, line dancing, sports and children's activities, pony rides, and of course the much-anticipated watermelon-eating contest!

Our grand raffle prizes include four roundtrip tickets on Norse Atlantic Airways and two nights at the Hotel Bristol, Oslo - plus many more fantastic prizes. We hope to see you there!
