Britt is the author of Kvinnenes Fred in Colombia and will present her book and the women behind it as well as share her experience writing the book Published in 2021, the book details women’s involvement in the 2016 peace agreement between the guerrilla movement FARC and the Colombian government.
Following strong pressure from Colombian women's organizations, women eventually joined both delegations at the negotiating table. The negotiating parties appointed a separate gender commission, and a strong gender equality profile permeated the entire peace agreement. Kvinnenes Fred i Colombia introduces women who participated in the peace negotiations, and women who in various ways were victims of the conflicts.
