We are continuing the tradition of the Heart Pillow Project and welcome all to join this fun and moving project. Pillows made by the club are donated to Aker Hospital for women who have undergone a mastectomy. The pillows are designed and shaped to support the armpit to ease pain as well as reduce swelling under the arm.
Want to contribute, but not sure about your sewing skills? Have no fear-there are tasks for expert quilters as well as #pinterestfail experts! The pillows move through different “stations” throughout the evening so assistance is needed to cut, sew, glue and wrap. We will find the right task for you, and there will also be a chance to catch up with friends old and new.
We are following FHI’s standards to make sure that you will feel safe and relaxed attending this meeting.
