March is the first official spring month. Spring is a symbol of a new beginning and progress. In 2021 we hope that this means a step backwards, to what life was like in 2019 where we could hug our friends, give our neighbor a helping hand without keeping a distance and meet the AWC members. Unfortunately, for the time being, it looks like we are still doing a digital member meeting, on Zoom.
Our guest for the evening will be author Derek B. Miller. He is, like many others in AWC, an American living in Oslo. The book club is familiar with this American author, his novel “Norwegian by Night” was our pick for January this year. If you haven’t already read some of his books, now is the time to do so.
No need for you to be on camera, if that’s what’s holding you back from attending a digital meeting, you can just listen in. So, bring your cup filled with your desired beverage, relax in your favorite seat, dress up or put on your pjs – it’s all up to you!
