I am SUPER excited about our venue for our June meeting. Last year we had my dear friend Ann Sung-An Lee join us for a chat in May, then in June we trekked our way to Grunerløkka to one of her fabulous restaurants, Way Down South where we all enjoyed amazing BBQ.
At our May meeting, Ann shared that she had been chosen to take over Gressholmen Kro, which was an extraordinary honour. The previous renters had held the lease for the last twenty years, and she was one of 19 applicants who had applied for it! Everything Ann touches seems to turn to gold. Why should it being any different with the new Gressholmen Kro? It became a smash hit and was featured shortly after opening in Aftenposten and other media outlets.
So without further a do, our June meeting will be held at the newly opened and refurbished Gressholmen Kro. Ann is delighted to open her doors for us at the AWC and I myself am excited to take a different boat for a change!

The Menu is now set! There will be two options:
Fresh shrimp, homemade bread served with homemade aioli
or
Veggie Sandwich/Bake aubergine also served with bread and aioli.
A drink of your choice, and to top it of, a scoop of homemade ice-cream!
La Fab (our treasurer) asked if we could include the tip in the price to avoid confusion which Ann was happy to do, she added a 10% gratuity charge. Please DO NOT prepay online, bring card, vipps or cash to Gressholmen Kro, total for the lunch
200kr lunch+ 20kr tip = 220 kr.
Please indicate which menu you prefer and if you have any allergies.
Also remember that if you do not have a monthly transport card, the boat to Gressholmen is not included in this price. The boat times are listed on ruter.no, however I know that to make it on time for the lunch, you should plan to take either the 11:45 or 12:00 boats. Both leave from Aker Brygge. B3 and B4, respectively.
