November is here again, and we all know what that means, warming comfort food and being surrounded by those you love, be it friends or family. We are very grateful that Prior wants to continue our collaboration by sponsoring us with their yummy turkey. In addition to Prior, Ann, from Way Down South BBQ will be donating three pecan pies, and Nord og Natt Tøyen is donating 2 kgs of their own roasted coffee. As in years past, the proceeds from the meeting will go to help the Oslo Crisis Centre, so every little bit we get sponsored means more money for women and children in need!
We will collect donations of gently used clothing and household items for Refugees Welcome Oslo, at the meeting. Here is what’s needed most urgenently: children’s clothing, adult winter clothing, outdoor clothing for rain and snow for people of all ages, and kitchen items like dishes, pots, and pans.
Because Betsy needs to have an exact headcount for food prep, it´s very important to note that there will be NO walk-ins allowed, and that registrations end Thursday the 10th of November, and that registrations are binding. Children under the age of 2 are free, children between the ages of 2-10 are half price, 100kr. If you are bringing children over the age of two, when registering add them as a guest, and note that it is your child.
