Thanksgiving gives us a chance to reflect on the things in our lives that we are thankful for.
Through the years, Norway has embraced many of our traditional holidays; Halloween and Valentine’s Day are more popular each year. But, Thanksgiving is still not celebrated here and that makes our November meeting all the more important.
The meeting is a day meeting, and Betsy’s famous Thanksgiving luncheon is amazing. As you walk through the door, you will be transported home by the lovely smell of turkey and “all the fixings”. We will be offering a complimentary glass of red wine for those who would like one.
Our club continues to support the women and children at the Oslo Crisis Center and standing with tradition of the last few years we will be donate all proceeds from the November meeting to the Crisis Center, including the income from the raffle.
