Our monthly meetings, typically follow a schedule.
When the doors open, members can socialize, buy raffle tickets, and use the AWC library until business begins (this is usually the first 30 minutes). When the meeting is called to order, there are announcements from various Club members and leaders (this is anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes). Then the meeting's program begins, which could be a group activity, a speaker, or any kind of event (usually 45 to 60 minutes). Refreshments are served during the meeting. After the program, the library is often open for an additional 20 minutes while the meeting room is broken down and put away.
Meeting topics/activities are announced in advance in the Club's media, and reservations are encouraged for meeting attendees, but not required. A small meeting cost, currently NOK 60, is charged for reserved in advance attendance, which covers catering. Walk-ins are also welcome, and will simply need to pay an additional walk-in fee, currently NOK 15.
